Gathorne-Hardy, 1st Earl of Cranbrook (1814-1906), became known to Carroll's Oxford circle in 1865 when he was nominated to stand in the Oxford University constituency. This is so terrible that it made me want to make a better version of it that would make much sence to the original 'plot'. I wish it wasn't limited to 26 episodes due to the bland storytelling and all the spirits just moaning about Aoi's grandad throughout almost every episode because I was promised a story that is set on Aoi cooking for her freedom so she can avoid marrying Odanna. Apparently it's as if the people who worked on this anime and possibly the mangaka forgot the sole reason why Aoi was in Kakuriyo in the first place.
